The light on the inside will come on but the motor will not run and neither will the heater. Customer insisted that it was an issue with the dryer and kept telling me to just replace the part. I replace the timer and the unit still did not work because it did not have 240 V. I told him he would have to call electrician because the unit will not work until you get the correct voltage. Took video of voltage testing.

"Upon arrival customer stated that before it stopped running it made a loud thud. Removed front panel and found belt loose but not broken. Removed drum and found belt tensioner not properly bolted to motor mount. Tensioner being loose allowed belt to slip and tensioner to drop. This was the loud thud they heard. Re-secured tensioner, installed belt and ran unit to test. Unit tumbles fine and heats fine. All ok."

"Upon arrival found unit with dim segments on display but showing power on. Condenser fans and evaporator fans are running. Put unit into diagnostics to force compressor on. Compressor won’t run. Checked inverter and found it not getting the proper control signal from the main PCB. Checked voltage at main PCB; no voltage from board. Unit needs main PCB, user interface, and want inverter on hand in case it is shorted. Customers home had a power outage yesterday and that’s when all problems started.
