Checked and found evaporator fan running, cold control is sending voltage to compressor. Compressor isn’t running at this time. Has voltage to it but not running. Compressor is very hot to touch. Compressor has an open winding causing it not to run. Unit needs compressor, and evaporator because old system is R12, and door gaskets. Both are sagging allowing moisture in and condensation. Not a good repair due to age and cost. Advising AHS. AHS is putting into replacement options."

"Upon arrival had customer already had unit unplugged and thawed. Removed evap cover and checked readings of temp sensor and thermostat ok. Replaced, went and exchanged to new main control. Upon plugging in unit has condenser fan and lights working, relay clicks once and compressor hims for about 10s trying to start then stops... waits a minute or 2 and repeats the process. Decided to,swap back in old main control and same difference. Had to leave home to,call techline, had windings are supposed to be 4ohms on run and 6 ohms on start. My readings were higher than this. He had me jumper brown to black on J19 connector off the board, then plug in unit to,see if compressor starts to eliminate the board. Same difference. "Customer claims unit would not start... had power off, checked main wiring connections at wire nuts, then rewired and taped, look good. Had customer apply power again. Upper console buttons seemed hard to press or not responding well do to age. Was able to start a normal wash, unit filled, washed, then canceled and drained ok. Proceeded to do a rinse, unit again filled, washed and drained ok. Will want to replace user interface control see if that helps out user.; rqstng P&A on 1 807545701 (console assembly)"

Checked unit over found that the unit wasn’t spinning or agitating. Found that the unit had standing water in the bottom from took video of standing water. Wash motor has water damage causing it to short out. Calling and informing AHS of issues. Not covered.
