I told the customer we can not do plumbing and to contact a plumber. also suggested they have an individual shut off for the dishwasher since they said it was connected directly to the sink shut off. I did replace the water valve that appeared to be leaking around the seal of the valve. Instructed customer to have plumbing fixed and then I could come back and check leaks if needed. Customer had carpenters who disconnected it reinstall water line. Checked and no leaks.

"Unit is 18 years old in garage. Upon arrival customer stated that unit wouldn’t cool for 3 days but last night the unit kicked on. He placed some items in the freezer and they’re frozen solid. Unit is running and cooling at this time. Suspect defrost board relay is sticking or compressor is overheating. All fans are running, cold controls are working properly. Could not duplicate concern of no cool. Advised customer to monitor unit. Collected deductible by check."

Upon arrival customer stated that since the unit was moved to repair a leaking water line behind; that it goes out of balance code and found unit not level causing unit to shake. Left rear leg wasn’t contacting the ground. Leveled unit and ran in spin to test. Unit no longer shakes and spins smooth. All ok.

"Customer claimed they only had a little bit of water in the front toward left hand side of unit. Unit is a side by side, inspected freezer side drain was clear. Customer had recently changed water filter and turned off icemaker. Filter is located on bottom center left. Drain pan is far left. Turned on icemaker was able to see it cycle and kick on water valve, did not see any water leaking from waterlines or filter housing. Unit has no water dispenser only icemaker. Drain pan was empty, unit i believe is over 12yrs old in good shape. Went ahead and cleaned dust off condenser coil never been done will improve air flow. Told customer to continue to monitor or if happens to remove that bottom bezzel to determine where leak may be coming from. Drain pan on DAP not available."

"Found thermal cutoff went bad again, heating element and thermostat good. There appears to be a venting issue explained to both husband and wife, the unit is on a second story and when putting my hand into the opening of wall appears to be full of lint. Husband had got a ladder to outside vent and making appropriate changes to allow lint not to build up and flow better. Unit is now heating ok.; used 1 279816 (FUSE) from stock"
