Customer states that unit is leaking again from the ice maker. Ice maker is frosted up and has water under ice bucket. Defrost drain is frozen. This allows water to overflow and leak out the front. Removed auger motor assembly and found connection for defrost heater not fully inserted. Heater is good. Tech did not get connection secure. This kept it from defrosting. Unit is operating as it should now. All ok.

Installed new control. Lights are still dim. Voltage at control is good. Voltage at led in freezer is low. Still 2vdc. Issue is in the wiring harness. This is not repairable. Harness is shorting out in the cabinet. Cannot access to repair. Called Lowes to inform. Theyll be in touch with customer in 2 business days.

Customer states that unit operated fine for about 3 days. Now its back to not heating again. Found thermal fuse shorted open. Replaced under part warranty. Ran on air dry to see if element is shorted to ground. Unit operated as it should. No heat in air dry. Ran unit in times dry high heat to test. Unit is cycling between 155-125. Well within specifications. Possible that the heater is shorting to ground. It did not fail while testing. Quoted heating element. Customer declined at this time. Looking into new unit. ; used 1 279769 (Thermal fuse(PW)) from stock

"Did an inspection on the unit. Moved unit out, checked with electronic gas detector and found no leaks, turned gas on. Checked all the connections, lines and burners with a electronic gas detector, as well as a liquid gas detector, and found no leaks on, in and around the unit. Disassembled the oven portion to make sure the bake and broil burners and igniter stones were operating normally. All checks ok. Inspected top burners and they are functioning normally and all checks ok on them as well. Advised customer that if she is still experiencing a strong odor of gas, she will need to consult a plumber to inspect the gas lines throughout her home. Customer still believes the issue is coming from the oven/area. I advised the customer we could not locate any leaks and if she is still concerned to contact Lowes Ext Warranty and request a second opinion. All checks ok."

"Inspected the unit and found ice still builtup around the icemaker. The unit has already had the upgrade kit installed on it, a new icebox and sealant all around the icebox. There are no other repairs for this issue. Called HBW and spoke with Lauren, advised them we have installed all the parts needed to fix the issue but it is not resolving the issue. Tech deemed the unit not repairable. HBW to reach out to the customer and talk with them about their options."
