Unit was throwing a code and would not run. Customer said they only ran it one time. I cleared out the water that was in there tested the unit adjusted spray arms and door seals could not get unit to leak. Checks OK

"Inspected the unit and found seven error codes while in diagnostics. Customers original complaint was the unit would not drain consistently. Discovered error codes listed. 1. Miscommunication on primary board for clearing drain pump algorithm. 2. Drain pump fail, 3. Miscommunication/interrupted communication on inverter board 4. Loss of pressure from sensor 5. Insufficient water flow detected 6. Door lock faulty7. RPMs on spin cycle not reached Error codes ranging from active, (which means it is currently happening on the test cycle) and date back as far as 297 days. Entered diagnostics and updated software, ran a test cycle and the unit filled with water, agitated the basket, and activated the drain pump for 2 to 5 seconds before shutting off again. Tested drain pump again and it would not activate and could not get the control board relay to activate. Advised the customer we would need to order at least the main control board and drain pump to address the immediate issues. Advised there could be other issues, but we would not know until we replaced out the main board. Estimated 1-2 weeks for parts to arrive and return for repair. Customer unhappy with constant issue with the unit and will contact us if they wish to move forward with the repair."

Inspected the unit and found a software update needed for the board. Updated and ran a test cycle on the heater and it is functioning properly. All checks ok.

"Inspected the unit and found several error codes. Error code issues listed below. 1. Miscommunication from Inverter board. 2. Door latch reoccurrence. 3. Vent dampener opening fail 4. Motor lock 5. Inverter board fault 6. Pressure sensor fault 7. Main board fault. Entered diagnostics and found the above error code. Cleared error codes and reset the unit. Ran a diagnostics test cycle in unit filled with hot and cold water, drained without any issues. While attempting to run the spin or agitate cycle, the unit would respond appropriately while in diagnostics and would show details as if it was spinning the basket, but the basket would not rotate. I was able to physically spin the basket by hand and theres no blockage. Removed the back panel and found no issues with the motor belt or gear case. Ran multiple test cycles in the unit would intermittently respond to controls and other times not. Customer had a very similar issue a couple months ago and has already had the inverter board main control board display board and door lock replaced. Recommend the customer contact GE for their factory service team to evaluate why theyre having continuous issues. Customer to contact us if they wish to move forward through repair."

Inspected the unit and found the pressure sensor hose was snagged and blocked. Unit over filled. Cleared the line and attached hose properly. Ran 3 cycles and found no other leaks or issues. All checks ok. Recommended the customer monitor the unit over the next couple cycles and install a water sensor under the unit in case it leaks again. Assisted the customer in placing a water pan under the unit.

Removed and replaced defective control board. Calibrated washing machine and ran a test cycle. Everything is working properly.

"Checked out the unit and found that the pilot light is staying on constantly, which appears to be a small gas leak at the igniter, which is keeping it lit. The unit is approximately 35 years old and parts are no longer available for it."

"After customer runs a steam cycle with two or three pieces of clothing in it, there is always a puddle of water at the bottom of the unit and inside the tub. Reached out to Tech Line and Tech Line stated that the steam option is meant for nothing smaller than a half a load, because the clothes have to collect the steam as it comes out if not, the water will puddle on the inside of the unit. Customer was unhappy with the unit because she thought the steam option would be able to be run with just one or two pieces of clothing. Advise the customer she could try to use the wrinkle control, which will also help prevent wrinkles and creasing in smaller items. Checks OK"

Checked unit over found the unit was not cooling and the compressor was locked up. Unit has a sealed system leak. Unit is approximately 20 to 25 years old located in the kitchen. Spoke with American home shield and theyre putting this unit into options.

Checked oven over and found control board needs replaced due to not reading the correct temperature. Unit is 3-5 years old. Normal wear and tear. No repair as of yet.

Cleared out internal vents for dryer so that the lint screen will seal up properly. Instructed customer to have exterior vents cleaned due to long dry times error code check OK

Reinstalled spray arms that had come loose checks ok.

Unit is being used in a commercial setting. This unit is not warranted as a commercial grade appliance. Provided info to the customer regarding the issue she was experiencing and advised the vent line is most likely blocked and needs the be cleaned. Recommended the customer have a professional company out to clear the vent line. Error code for poor airflow.

"Inspected the unit and found one shipping bolt still installed on the rear of the unit and a second one laying down on the floor. Pull the unit away from the wall and could hear constant water leaking. Shut off the waterlines removed the waterlines. While pulling the unit out of the laundry room, discovered water leaking out the front bottom of the unit. Move the top front and back panels and discovered shipping bolt had caused damaged to the tub. Both shipping bolts had broke off Because they had not been removed. Photo sent to customer regarding damage. Front portion of the tub has a large piece cracked off and anytime water would enter the tub it would leak out the front of the unit. This has caused water to get on the underside control board, drain pump, and motor. Electrolux warranty does not cover this repair as this is not normal wear and tear and was directly caused by the unit not being installed properly. Advised the customer to take this report and photos to the retailer regarding replacement of the unit since this was not installed properly."

Inspected the unit and found no water entering the dishwasher. Made adjustments to the water valve shut off underneath the sink and the unit is now filled with water. Performed a software update and ran two test cycles and the unit is now functioning properly. Provided information to the customer regarding detergent usage. All checks OK.

Inspected the unit and found the smart defrost cycle on and not engaging in the defrost cycle. Reset to 8 hour defrost and recommended the customer defrost the unit for 48 hours. All other tests and checks passed.

Inspected the refrigerator and found the left-hand door with the mullion slightly out of alignment causing it to rub on the bottom of the cabinet. Adjusted the left-hand door at the top hinge which corrected the gap between the two doors allowing left-hand door to open properly with a slight rub on mullion gasket. Customer is not happy at all and says it does not operate like the one out at Lowes. I advised that it appeared everything is sealing properly And functioning properly at this time.

Removed and replaced defective icemaker advise to allow 24 hours for ice production

Inspected the unit and found that the installers never removed the shipping brace which is damaging the wall due to the rod coming out on the wall side and damaging the floor due to the vibration. Also found that the vent to the dryer was never hooked up so it is Blowing humid air into the closet. Customer will need to get the installers back out to complete job.

Inspected the unit and found that it was not getting 240 V at the wall. Customer will need a certified electrician to repair the outlet.

"Upon further inspection, I found that the control/motor had also been damaged due to some sort of power surge. Canceling initial repair."

Inspected the unit and found what seemed to be a failing compressor due to the heat overload. Customer declined repairs.

Inspected the unit and found that it was going through a suds error emergency drain. Cleared code. Recalibrated control. Notified customer to only use 2 tablespoons of liquid detergent no matter what size load. Or one pod no matter what size load. All checks OK

Checked out the unit and found that the bearings in the tub were bad and the Gearcase is also faulty due to large amount of oil on the bottom of the unit. The unit would need both inner and outer tub along with a Gearcase. Advised of cost and did not want to proceed further.

Checked out the unit and replace the dryer knob due to the old one being broken. Also remove the front of the dryer and cleaned out the lint that was around the thermostat and the fuses. Check the dryer vent line to make sure we are getting good airflow out of the unit and also checked to make sure the timer was working on all three cycles.all checks good

Installed the new motor and ran a test cycle. Checks OK

Checked out the unit and found that the microwave doorhandle had come loose. Tightened up the handle and also answered several other questions and customer had regarding other appliances. Checks OK

The piece of the door the hinge sits on was also broken off the door. Due to this, the unit would need a new door to even be able to put the mullion on.
