Drawer wont close due to ice build up behind it. Ice is overflowing from the ice maker and building up behind drawer. Ice maker wont stop cycling because the bail arm is broken off. Replaced ice maker and cleared frost. Drawer is closing fully and ice maker is functions as it should. All ok. ; used 1 DA97-07603B (Ice maker) from stock

Customer states that unit isnt filling much more on deep fill then on regular and unit makes a click noise in spin. Issue has been present from day one. Checked unit for error codes. None present. Ran automatic diagnostics test with no issues. Ran normal wash with deep fill selected. Unit filled to an inch above the washplate. Pressure hose is clear and not blocked. Spoke with Joe at Whirlpool Techline and they state that this is normal for this unit. It does not fill to the top like previous models. It uses sensing and only adds a small amount more from normal. This normal for the unit. Unable to duplicate noise.

Inspected the unit and found the evaporator in the freezer section with a partial frost pattern. Compressor activating and pulling good amps. In order to find the leak we found have to recharge the unit and install a dye filter. We would come back a few days later to checks for leaks from the dye. If the leak is from the compressor or evaporator the part will need to be ordered and we would return to install the part. There is a possibility that the leak can be inside the linear which is not repairable. Provided info to the customer on a sealed system repair.

Made adjustments to the drain line. Ran a auto cycle and the unit filled with water, washed, and drained without any error codes or issues. Ran a normal wash for 25 minutes with no issues. There is a bad smell coming from the dishwasher and drain area. Recommend the customer use cleaning tablets on a regular basis. All checks ok."

Inspected unit and found control board not responding and none of the led lights working. I checked voltage at the wall as well as at the unit and on the control board. Unplugged and plugged back in and found the sensing led blinking. Pressed start and it stopped blinking and showed a steady light. Unit did not do anything from there. Gave customer quote for control board. Customer declined future repairs.
