Inspected unit and found a failed thermal fuse and cut off. Installed new thermal fuse and cut off as part warranty and ran a test cycle. Found a shorted heater. Provided information to customer and advise them that they have a short in the system which is causing the heating element to stay on which is taking out the fuses and eventually taking out the heating element. I advise the customer that would be in their best interest to replace the unit and they agreed. All checks OK; used 1 279816 pw (Thermostat) from stock

Inspected unit and found no error codes. Found the cold water valve partially shut. Opened valve and ran a diagnostics test. Cold and hot water valves are partially blocked but still running without any issues and putting out enough water flow from the unit to function. Often times the blockage will clear itself. Re-calibrated and reprogrammed board. Ran a manual and automatic test cycle and found no other issues. All checks OK. Advise the customer on the proper amount of detergent to use per manufacturer.

Inspected the unit and found no ice build up in the icebox area but found the icemaker filled with ice but not dropping the ice. Install new icemaker and advise customer to take up to 48 hours before it starts producing ice on a regular basis. All other checks OK; used 1 243297613 (Icemaker) from stock

"Customer complained of a bad smell coming from the unit. Customer states that unit wouldnt drain out or spin. Checked control for error codes. Unit has lid lock/unlock errors. Lock functions I test mode but isnt being sensed as closed. Replaced lid lock assembly. Unit is sensing lid closed now. All functions work as they should. All ok.

Customer states that unit is making a rubbing/swoosh sound as it tumbles. Nothing visible in drum causing noise. Removed drum and found an end of a drawstring stuck in the felt seal. Removed and ran to test. All ok.

Customer states that unit vibrates and shakes. Inspected unit and found lint built up one one side of the blower wheel. This causes the blower wheel to go out of balance and vibrate. Cleared blower wheel of lint and ran to test. All ok. No more vibration.

Door boot is torn in the same as the old one. Inner basket has come loose from the mounting flange. This allowed tub to sag and tear the door boot. Inner basket needs replaced but is no longer available. No repair possible.

Installed new boards and ran to test. No more error codes and unit spins with no issues. All ok.

Unit has a vibration from the motor area. Removed front and jumped door switch; ran unit to test. Vibration is coming from the wiring harness. When harness is removed from clip that secures it to the base the noise goes away. Secured harness and noise is gone. Had customer listen and they are satisfied. All ok.

Inspected the unit and found a blown thermal fuse and the door switch not functioning properly replaced fuse and door switch making adjustments to the back panel and clearing out lint and dust. Reattach the vent line that runs out of the home for the customer. Ran a test cycle and Ill checks OK. I advise the customer to have the vent lines professionally cleaned about once a year.; used 1 WP3392519 (Fuse) from stock

"Inspected the unit and could hear a loud knocking noise when the cycle is activated. Disassemble the unit and inspected the drum, the drum and belts are in good working shape and found no issues. Inspected the pulley and found a large amount of length and dust buildup on the pulley but no squealing noise or abnormal issues. Found the back right support roller damaged which is causing the loud noise in the back left support roller seem to be locking up. Provided estimate to replace both back wheels and to regrease the supports and pulley. Approved by the customer. Removed old wheels, sanded support studs and greased. Installed new wheels. Greased pulley as well. Customer asked about replacing the belt and I advised him it was in good working order and did not recommend it. Reassembled the unit and ran a test cycle. Slight squealing noise coming from the new wheels and grease installed. I advised the customer this is very common and it should go away in a few cycle. Advised them if it does not go away after 5/6 cycles to give us a call. All checks ok. ; used 1 349241T (2x Rollers, kit, clips, bracket) from stock"

"Inspected unit and found several error codes for: stuck key, water sensor fault, drain pump fault. Reprogrammed the unit and ran a test cycle. The 7nit filled with water, agitated, drained, and spinned without any issues. Advise the customer on the proper usage of detergent and use the clean tablets. Inspected the underside of the unit and found a gearcase leaking oil. Provided this information to customer advice and they only have a couple years left on the appliance and be cautious about how much money they put into future repairs."

Inspected unit and found the control panel not running through a cycle. Reset the control board and disconnected the control panel allowing the communication between the control board and panel to reset. Reassembled the top of the unit and ran a test cycle with no issues. Advise the customer that the control panel is no longer available and if they have future issues with it they should try using different cycles but if that does not fix the issue then they need to replace the unit.

Inspected the unit and could hear a loud grinding noise coming from the gearcase in the basket to spend. Inspected the underside of the unit and found a large amount of grease on the gear case and motor and part of the gear case cracked. The damage to the unit is extensive and advise the customer it would be a very costly repair and could have potential future issues. Tech recommended to replace the unit.
