"Checked out the unit and found the unit not starting a cycle. Remove the back panel off the unit and found several of the thermal fuse wires damaged. Repaired the thermal fuse wires and the thermal fuse. Cleaned out some lint that had build up around the blower fan in the back of the blower housing. Hook the unit back up and started a test cycle, the unit started but found that the knob has a small crack in the side of it, which was not allowing it to change cycles and would get stuck when trying to turn. "Checked unit over, found that the unit would not run through cycle and was shut down and occasionally tripped the breaker. Checked wire harness at junction box resecured wires, and nuts. Checked all components in a diagnostics everything was running and did not the breaker I started the unit and let it run for a minute or two and it would just shut down mid cycle resetting the breaker would get it to come back on. Theres a short in one of the components there is no way to narrow down, which component or harness is acting up because when testing they all function properly, but during a cycle is shut down and will tripped the breaker. Spoke with American shield and they're putting it into options"

While changing out the part, I noticed that there was a small piece of glass that got caught underneath the spring, which was not allowing the diverter switch to switch from top to bottom and running both upper and lower wash arms so I remove the piece of glass put the new piece on. Checked good"
