Did not find any restrictions in the exhaust venting today. I did notice on the outside dryer exhaust vent. There is a small hand towel laying across the top of it and it looks like sometimes I shove it in there too. Keep cold air from coming back in. Its possible exhaust vent was blocked. "Customer was complaining about the flames on the oven all being orange. Tested cooktop burners and both ovens and all flames were orange. Checked regulator and regulator was working properly. This unit is not getting the proper gas flow mixture coming to the oven. This is what is causing the orange flames. Everything on the oven checks and is working properly. This is related to gas, flow and air mixture coming into the unit from the home."

"Checked it over and found that unit would not heat found that a few of the wires had melted at the back near the timer, repaired wires and was able to get the unit to partially heat, but I had to wiggle the wires and even then the heater would not stay on. Unit needs new wiring harness along with timer. Parts are no longer available. Spoke with American home shield and theyre putting the unit into options. Unit is approximately 30 years old located in the basement."
