Back wall is warm from condenser, evap area is cold to touch. Advised customer to run 24 hours and checked on temps. Checked unit and found water leak is from the defrost drain pan overflowing. Unit is a hot wall condenser and does not have a condenser fan to help evaporate water. Water is overflowing defrost pan because unit is running constantly. Door wonÕt close fully because lower hinge is sagging. Hinge sags because door frame where the hinge mounts to is rusted and allows hinge to sag. Door not closing fully is what causes unit to run constantly and pan to overflow. The rusted door frame is not a repairable issue. Unit would need a new cabinet to fix. Unit is in kitchen 12 years old. Called AHS to give diagnosis. Authorization number 206KABL

Checked unit and found low air flow through damper. Pulled damper to inspect. Found frost build up in air duct between the freezer and fridge. Thawed out frost and air flow improved. "Checked unit over and found error code for fresh food defrost circuit. Fresh food evap cover is frosted over. Thawed out evap cover and checked defrost circuit. Defrost heater is shorted open and sensor is out of range. Evap fan isn’t running from frost build up. Thawed out evaporator and fan. Reinstalled to test. Fan won’t run but has voltage. Unit needs sensor, evap cover with fan, and defrost heater. Did not collect deductible.
