Inspected unit and found door hard to open because frame/body is bent. Frame is bent along the bottom and bottom of oven is bowed. Door latch is hitting door frame making it hard to open and close. Unit is not secured into wall. It is in a brick wall and installer did not secure it to brick. He was going to come back and glue it in but never showed. Unit is not repairable due to bowed frame. Installer caused damage to unit. Cannot bill to GE. Customer had been dealing with Kathy at Lowes CPO in regards to replacing unit because of installer damages. Called her to give information and left voicemail. Have not heard back from Lowes.

"Upon arrival customer ice maker intermittently hangs up, mullion is broke and freezer leaks water. Forced ice maker to cycle and it cycled slowly. Ice maker has an intermittent dead spot in the motor causing no ice production. Mullion spring broke. Replaced ice maker and mullion. Cycled ice maker to test and it functions as it should. Water from freezer is from a clogged defrost drain. Cleared drain of ice and installed heater wire. All ok no more leaks."

"Install mullion, door opens and closes properly. Customer stated they thought the water valve was leaking on the back of the unit. The customer turned the water on to the refrigerator and I found the water valve leaking. Replace water valve and provide the customers information, and advised them I could not hook up the main waterline back to the valve due to liability reasons they should have a plumber come out and make adjustments to the line. Inspected the unit and found when the turbo cooling was activated the fan in the freezer section would rev up really high for a few seconds and then rev back down. The fan noise during the turbo was noticeable louder. The fan is marked as no longer available. Called tech line and asked them about the fan. They said as long as the unit is still properly cooling this is normal. They are working on a service pointer to try and lower the noise or find another manufacturer for the fan. Called the customer and advised them. Unit cooling and functioning properly.

"Inspected the unit and found the control panel cracked and not responding to all the buttons, the soap dispenser door not opening, the door gasket around the tub not sealing up and causing the unit to leak, the washer motor with low water flow and the upper rack and rail broke. The unit is 9 years old and located in the kitchen. Called HBW and spoke with Jack, provide a diagnosis issues and cost for repair. I advised him due to the age of the unit and the cost of repair that I do not recommend repair. He advised me they will submit the unit for replacement options and contact the customer."
