Replaced icemaker, had to call techline to test harvest of icemaker but no water filled, valve did kick on. There is a bulletin REF07-16 on fill tube heater, went to main control ohmed out heater J1 pin 3 orange to J2 pin 4 blue with yellow stripe. Getting 970 ohms then lost connection with tech poor att service. Couldnt get back online, running behind, will check HHS store room for old units for possible fill tube heater and other. Told customer to keep eye on temp circulation in frig, as for freezer icemaker might have to replace fill tube heater or valve. Heater not even a part listed on lookup, frustrating. ; saved tckt"

Put unit into auto diagnostics, found 2 error codes, F2E1 stuck key and F7E1 speed basket fault. Was able to complete quick tests, unit filled each valve, agitate, drain and spin. Noticed however at times while trying to put unit in cycle would not respond, removed power for a minute, then waited a few secs unit still not responding. Set freezer temp to -8 to see if compressor and fans would run. Compressor and fans are running. Removed evaporator cover to check frost pattern. Unit has a poor frost pattern on the freezer evaporator. Unit has a leak. Has enough freon to keep fresh food section at temp but not freezer. Unit needs dye filter installed and leak checked. Quoted 350 plus 40 for dye filter. Due to cost of repair and age of unit customer does not wish to repair."

FREEZER MIDEA WHS384C1 "Customer unit went out, and lost all food. Upon inspection unit was plugged in and turned on. Voltage is coming to compressor, compressor is warm to the touch but not running. Plugged in amp/watt meter to wall. When switching control from off to on unit will temp spike over 6 amps then dramatically fall back down to zero. I believe we have a locked compressor. Talked to Chris about the call, the unit is an R600 unit, Called Midea, information is registered they will have service manager decide and will probably exchange the unit, but will contact the customer."
