"Upon inspection unit is only cooling about 54F in frig and 18F in freezer. Unit has error code SYEF evap fan failure and display leds are going dim needs new display panel. Problems with both icemakers, found upper icemaker compartment has frost and ice buildup from air leak. Needs new air handler kit. Customer claims a prior servicer had been out not sure when and replaced but if they did they used same original part design as new part design not installed. Also frost buildup in freezer around evaporator, causing blockage of fan and lack of cooling in frig section. Checked out fan is bad will need replaced as well, checked bimetal and defroster heater appear good and drain is cleared. Used steamer to melt enough to get checks then will have customer keep unplugged with door off to thaw out. Customer has spare frig.
