Upon inspection found slight ice build from water droplets having re froze. Contacted frigidaire techline. They explained that the units are so energy efficient that if the power were to go out if the door is never opened will maintain the same temperature for 2 days. Whats happening is that during the cooling process the humidity in the food is being released but if the unit determines its cool enough its not going to run and circulate the air. This humidity released will refreeze which is different from frost buildup from an air leak. The less someone is in and out of the unit more likelihood this will form. Customer had been away on vacation for past 2 weeks. Talked and explained this to the husband. Unit checks ok. Tech also claimed this feature “Arctic Block” on new units.

I switched plug from top to bottom and plugged the overhead light into the top. Put unit into a warm, small load, normal cycle. Unit filled, but did not stop overflowing unit. Was able to stop and cancel. Proceeded to put unit in a drain and spin. Unit did drain but would never spin out just slowly turning even after 7-8 minutes. Canceled checked pressure hose connection, sensor and wiring, checked for loose connections at upper control. Unplugged unit again proceeded to drain and spin, drain pump will kick on but unit will not engage full spin out. ; ordrng 1 203657P (PCB) and 1 203843 (PRESSURE SENSER) and 1 204163 (CONTROL)"

Upon inspection found slight ice build from water droplets having re froze. Contacted frigidaire techline. They explained that the units are so energy efficient that if the power were to go out if the door is never opened will maintain the same temperature for 2 days. Whats happening is that during the cooling process the humidity in the food is being released but if the unit determines its cool enough its not going to run and circulate the air. This humidity released will refreeze which is different from frost buildup from an air leak. The less someone is in and out of the unit more likelihood this will form. Customer had been away on vacation for past 2 weeks. Talked and explained this to the husband. Unit checks ok. Tech also claimed this feature “Arctic Block” on new units.

"Customer claims they contacted frigidaire in regards to a slight cracking of liner of the unit. Unit was manufactured in 5/17 installed 11-15-17. Took pictures of crack. Called techline, they told me to order some liner tape and gave part number #5300168328. At this time there doesnt appear to be any other issue affected.
