"Upon arrival customer claims unit has been acting up sparingly. Unit seems to fill and wash ok, but issues draining?. Checked drain filter found small zip tie in unit, removed from filter. Checked with hand for other blockages none. Nothing was on display at the time. Was able to put unit into a drain without issue. Then proceeded to put unit into a express wash. Unit filled and washed without issue. Customer claims, unit will show up with water tap error. Then proceeded to put unit into a normal wash, unit filled and washed, let run for 10mins while researching the issue. Opened door, evrything is washing properly closed door unit started washing again. Customer has larger family, older teenager had checked drain line and water underneath in basement crawl space. After extensive testing on various cycles could not get the error code to come up. Customer claims sometimes unit will come up with that message and continue to run and finish cycle.

Upon arrival found unit would fill and drain but not wash properly. Wash motor just hums. Unit needs new wash motor and 2 door springs as one is missing and the other is stretched badly. Making estimate in system and gave customer hand written note estimate. He will contact his home warranty company and go from there. Given the condition and age and new cost of unit its not adviseable for repair.
