Customer said the freezer started getting warmer first then the fresh food section, over a period of a couple of weeks or so. Upon arrival temp checks were around 68F in both sections. Unit lights, fans, compressor all running. Customer husband had tried troubleshooting and had many parts removed as for shelving etc. Plugged in watt/amp,meter... unit started up pulled initial over 2amps then quickly dropped down to below 1/2amp while running. Checked no frost on evap, pic attached. Told customer needs sealed system job, would need to install a dye filter to determine a leak if we can find it and or if we need to order any replacement parts. Gave them rough estimate of at least $5-600 for repair. Collected service call fee."

DISHWASHER FRIGIDAIRE FFID2426TD2A Upon arrival customer stated that unit won’t start and door isn’t lining up. Unit won’t start because the door latch isn’t catching. Door latch isn’t catching because door is loose on the left side at hinge. Tightened up hinge bolt and door is closing properly. Issue was from previous repair. Tech didn’t get door hinge tight when reassembling. All ok. No deductible collected since this is a recall.
