Put unit into automatic diagnostics test. Unit ran test but when it spun the lid unlocked and unit was still spinning. Unit isn’t sensing speed. Used tach verification mode to test. Unit isn’t sensing rpm. Unit is also very noisy in spin. Has bearing noise from transmission. Ran calibration to see if unit would pick up sensor. Unit will not calibrate. No loose connections at sensor or at control. Unit isn’t sensing speed and won’t allow it to proceed on in the cycle. Unit needs shifter assembly and transmission. Due to cost of repair customer is going to shop around and may replace. Will call in if they decide to repair."

DISHWASHER LG LDF5545ST Upon arrival Custer stated unit won’t start. Ran unit to test and it started fine. Cancelled cycle and ran again. Unit finally failed. Door switch isn’t sensing door closed.
