"Unit is 29 years old in laundry room. Upon arrival found unit wouldn’t drain because motor isn’t running but just hums. Removed cabinet and inspected. Found red wire from start capacitor broken at molex connector of motor. Repaired wire and ran to test unit agitates, drains, and spins as it should. Looked for reasons wire would break. Found tub spring at rear not connected to frame. This allowed the tub to move more than it should pulling the wire from the molex connector. Re-secured spring to new hole. Original hole spring went to rusted out. Unit spins smooth now. All ok."

Upon arrival customer stated that when boiling water on the left front burner it sparked under the glass and tripped the breaker. Removed top to inspect and found line 1 terminal off of burner and shorted to ground. This is why it tripped the breaker and sparked. Repaired terminal end and ran burner to test. Burner heats and cycles as it should. Checked other burners for signs of loose wires. None found. All ok.

Moisture sensor is reading properly as are thermistors. Temps thermistors show on control match what I was getting at the exterior. Could not duplicate concern of long dry times. "Unit had water fill tube completely frozen up, prior to water was leaking and overflowing everywhere in and behind evap cover etc. removed all and cleared ice and steamed. Cleared fan evap etc. pulled fill tube cleared and checked for cracks. Installed all, of course customer had turned unit up all the way to highest settings, customer adult son said they had noticed water pressure been lower. Could not remove filter suspect it was frozen in place. Turned down settings to 5 for each compartment, told son to let it cool and balance out, later pull the water filter to check. Also customer has old copper line running to basement. Told him need to pull water line off and check water pressure in the bucket. Possibly low water pressure has caused this to happen. Unit checks ok."
