Remove the door boot, and the door lock cleaned out the door lock due to some debris and corrosion on the inside. After cleaning it out and reinstalling the door boot ran a recalibration cycle on the door lock and tried several cycles afterwards and the door locked each time. Advised the customer that if the issue returns, he would be looking at a new door lock. Check OK"

Ran several testing and readings with my multimeter. Everything is working through diagnostics heater is working on the filter tube. Water valve is dispensing water when it needs to icemaker is harvesting and doing everything it should do but the problem is is the main control after this thing goes out of diagnostics is not communicating with the heater and the fill tube is freezing right at the point where it goes into the icemaker. I tested it with another heater that I had in my truck and I also tested it side-by-side with the heater that is there all the testing voltage and om readings are exactly the same so my prognosis is they need a main control I gave the customer a quote for a price waiting on them to decide whether not they want to repair or replace.

"Checked out the unit and found that the icemaker compartment was frozen up and I was unable to remove the ice bin. Steamed out inside the unit and after removing the ice bin, the ice bin was cracked at the back of the bin. Steamed out all of the ice and replaced the icemaker. Ordering a ice spin for the customer. Checked unit over and found that there was no issues with the dryer that the issues were with the customers vents. Thats why it was taking a long time to dry. Instructed them to get their vents cleaned out and then the unit would go back to working properly.
