None others present. Unit ran through diagnostics with no issues. Pressure sensor is reading water level. Water valves are opening fully. Inspected underside and found grease/oil leaking from the transmission assembly. The transmission is binding up under load and causing it to misread the weight of the clothes. "Customer states they are getting a gas odor from the vent on the outside of the house. They are not smelling any gas inside the house and it is not setting off any carbon monoxide detectors. Check control for error code. None were found. Removed front panel and found lint buildup in the machine and the blower housing. Cleared lint to make sure it was not getting hot. Customers vent is almost collapsed behind it and has lots of kinks. Customer also stated that where it goes into the basement it has lots of 90? bends. Advised customer to have the vents cleaned and possibly modified to prevent so many 90s. The odor is the buildup of lint and its getting hot. If the unit had a gas leak, they would smell inside the house not in the vent outside. Checked all gas lines for leaks with gas leak detector. No gas leaks from the unit. All OK. If problems still persists after customer has vents cleared we will need to replace the igniter."

Calibrated the control, and ran diagnostics cycle. Unit is functioning as it should. Showed RAC manager unit running in high speed with no issues. They will advise the customer on operation and loading. I suspect overloading is causing excessive shaking."

"Unit is 2 years old in laundry closet. Customer states that unit is making noise when it agitates. Ran diagnostics cycle to verify noise. Noise is coming from the drive pulley. Removed belt cover and found the drive pulley loose and slipping on the splines. Removed and reinstalled drive pulley. Ran again to test. No more abnormal noises. Drive pulley became loose from a large load. Customer had ran a cycle with large rugs in it. This weighed the unit down enough to cause the pulley to contact the cover and loosen. Advised customer on load size to prevent this from happening again. Unit is operating as it should. If the problem occurs, we will need to bring out the drive pulley."

"Customer states that the unit is leaving brown stains on clothes. Inspected softener cup and found a lot of excess soap build up. Removed and cleaned. Agitator has a lot of build up as well. Advised customer on amount of soap to use and cleaning of the unit. Advised them to run at least two cleaning tablets through the unit. No error codes stored in the control. Ran diagnostics to verify correct operation. Unit is operating as it should. Select deep rinse when using fabric softener. To clean the washer: Set water level to max, set cycle to bulky, set temperature to hot, and select deep rinse. Add cleaning tablet to an empty tub. Start the machine and allow it to finish the cycle. Do this every 3 months."

"Unit is 4 years old in the kitchen. Customer states that unit is unresponsive. No lights on the control and no operation. Voltage to the unit is correct at 123vac. Disconnected power and reset the control. Unit powered on and buttons are functioning. Updated software to address unresponsive/dead control. Ran diagnostics cycle to test functions. Unit fills, washes, drains, and heats as it should. Heater is drawing 6.8 amps. No leaks. All buttons are responsive. Unit is functioning as it should. All ok."

Customer states that the unit is making a clicking noise in spin. Control has no error codes stored. Ran spin to test to verify noise. Sounds like the slider is dragging on the rotor. Inspected underside and found the rotor bolt loose. This is why the slider is dragging. It is not fully engaging. Removed rotor to inspect. No signs of damage to the slider or the rotor. Reinstalled the rotor and added thread lock to the bolt. Ran calibration and test. No more noise. Unit spins and agitates quietly. All ok.

"Inspected the unit and found the waveguide with dark spotting. Customer has noticed the sparking when cooking bacon and sausage. Ran a cycle with bacon and smoked sausage and the waveguide would spark. Ran a cycle with a cup of water and it did not spark at all. Spoke with Thermidor techline and they said the only reason this should be sparking is if the customer has Metal inside the linear, the linear is damaged or the food product has high mineral counts. Finding none of those issues with the food product or unit. Called AIG and advised of the issues. AIG to dispatch a second opinion on the unit. Notified customer."
