Checked out the unit and found a large amount of ice buildup on the back wall inside the refrigerator section and the ice was coming out of behind the evaporator cover. Advise the customer to do a manual defrost for 48 hours to make sure all of the ice gets thawed out. Customer wanted us to steam it out instead. Removed all of the items inside the refrigerator and steamed out the ice on the out of the evaporator cover. Remove the evaporator cover and steamed out all the ice buildup and also steamed down through the drain line and the air channel going down into the freezer. Advised the customer there is portions of the airways. We cannot physically steam out upon removing the evaporator cover due to the amount of ice that had built up the top of the evaporator cover was cracked. Reassembled the unit.

"Pulled the unit forward and physically inspected the top rear and under side of unit and found no damage or noticeable defects. Ran to test cycles a manual and automatic test cycle and all mechanical components function without issues. Inner diagnostics and found an error code for oversight, oversize load, and off balance load. Per the off bounce load error code. We recalibrated the unit and ran another automatic test cycle and found no other issues. Provide information to customer regarding detergent usage. I advised if they have continuing issues, they may want to request a second opinion from their warranty as we are not finding any issues with the unit or defects."
