"Customer states that items are freezing in the lower part of the rest food section and the unit isnt making ice well. Both issues are related to fresh food evap drain pan. Also missing segments on the display. The unit is in need of the fresh food evaporator kit. The drain pan is bowed keeping water from draining properly. This allows it to freeze and frost over. The food freezes because of close contact to so much ice/frost. The ice maker air flow is then reduced causing it to slowly produce ice. The unit needs the fresh food, evaporator kit, user interface, main board, and fill tube heater.; ordrng 1 W11457241 (Evaporator frost kit) and 1 W11387386 (User interface) and 1 W10843055 (Main pcb) and 1 W11087201 (Heater)"

Customer states that the unit will preheat and get to temp but when it goes to relight the burners it shows error and shuts off. They are able to get it to reset by hitting clear. Sometimes it will operate fine sometimes it wont. Heated unit to 350 and once it got to temp the error code occurred. This error is an ignition control module error. Flame sensors are good as is solenoids. The unit needs the ICM board. ; ordrng 1 17171100002643 (ICM Board)

Inspected unit and found the unit unplugged. Customer stated unit would run for about 8 hours then flip the breaker. Checked unit for any shorts or exposed wires and found none. Plugged unit and manually turned timer and unit did not flip breaker. Advised to plug in and I would need to reschedule.

"Unit was overfilling with water. Adjusted pressure switch. Could not get unit to drain properly. Found small pieces of concrete in the drain pump. After clearing out the drain pump and getting the unit to drain. We found that the bearings in the tub were completely shot, and the base of the tub was broken. That is where the concrete came from. This is not repairable. Spoke with American shield and they're putting it into options"

Check unit over and found that the unit would not run. Found that the unit had shorted wire harness at the thermal fuse and heater wire was burnt up repaired wire harnesses. Tested unit checks ok

Checked unit over and the unit was functioning properly. Customers complaint was when the unit would rise up that it would wobble a little bit. I took videos of the unit going up and down and sent them to Bosch . Spoke with Bosch about the unit and they said it is normal for the unit to have a little bit of wobble as its going up and downuntil its stabilizes. There are no parts that can be replaced in order to fix this. Called and informed customer of what Bosch has said.

Check unit over found the control board would not respond to commands or diagnostics. Also will not recognize door latch. Unit needs new control board. Customer wants to think about repair.

"Customer states that the unit intermittently wont drain. It is showing an error when this occurs. Checked control for error codes and found F9E1, and F9E2. Both are drain pump errors. Forced unit to drain and it did with no issues. Removed drain pump to inspect. Nothing blocking the pump or hose. Drain hose is installed correctly. Removed door skin to inspect the control. Found the drain motor connector not fully inserted. This has caused the control to overheat. The unit needs the control and drain pump. ; ordrng 1 W11412291 (Drain pump) and 1 W11506011 (Control)"

"Customer states that the timer isnt advancing in the automatic settings and the end of cycle signal didnt stop buzzing. The customer had unplugged the unit and since then it has been operating correctly. Voltage to the unit is correct at 243vac. All thermostats test good as do thermal fuses. No loose or broken wires. Ran unit to test. The timer advanced in auto setting with no load as it should. End of cycle signal is operating correctly as well. I am unable to duplicate concern of not advancing. No problem found. If the problem reoccurs, it is most likely a bad timer."

"Customer stated that the cooktop surface and frame get very hot when running the oven. They had another unit exchanged from BB for the same issue. Whirlpool has a bulletin in regards to cooktop surface temperature limits. The bulletin states that there is no temperature limit on the cooktop surface. The surface includes the perimeter edge and vertical sides. Meaning that the manufacturer is expecting the edges and cooktop to get hot during oven use. There is no UL guideline for the cooktop temperature because limiting those temperatures would limit the functionality of the oven. Inspected the unit for proper insulation, and door sealing. Insulation is good and the oven door is sealing well. Per bulletin test I heated the oven to 475. Testing the temperature at the front edge of the cooktop. Edge of cooktop got to 94 degrees after preheat. Allowed unit to cycle. Temp after 20 minutes is 110, temp after 40 minutes is 124, temp after 60 minutes is 130. There is no set limit for the cooktop temperatures. The unit is functioning as it should. No parts could be replaced to change the operation. Advised customer."
