"Unit is 6 years old in janitor room. Customer states unit is showing an OE error, wont drain, and makes a vibrating sound when it tries to drain. OE is a drain error. Ran to test. Pump is getting voltage but wont move water. Removed filter to inspect. Nothing blocking the pump impeller. Removed pump to inspect and found the impeller cracked and loose from the motor. This is why it wont drain, why it produces the error, and why it is making noise. Replaced drain pump and ran rinse/spin cycle to test. Unit fills, agitates, drains, and spins as it should. "Customer states that regardless of load size or cycle selection in the unit is going out of balance. Also taking very long to finish a load. Both issues are related. The unit is going out of balance, and attempting to rebalance itself by going back into the rinse cycle. This is what is extending in the cycle. Inspected the suspension and found the left front worn. Also found play in the transmission assembly. The unit will need the transmission assembly and the suspension set.; ordrng 1 DC97-18439B (Gear case) and 4 DC97-16350U (Suspension)s"

Inspected the unit and found ice in the freezer section at the drain pan. Pulled the unit forward and cleared the drain line from the back and advised the customer to defrost the unit for 24 hours with the freezer door open. I advised the customer if they have continuing issues with it leaking they may have an insulation blockage around the drain line and that is not repairable.

"Unit is 13 years old in the kitchen. Customer states the freezer started warming then the fresh food section did. They unplugged the unit for a few days and plugged it back in this morning. When I arrived control was set to the off position. Turned control on. Condenser fan, evaporator fan, and compressor came on. Allowed unit to run to inspect the frost pattern. Unit is developing a decent frost pattern. Temperatures in the unit continued to drop. Unit is currently functioning as it should.
