"Customer states they are getting an SYEF error and the unit is making a vibrating/buzz sound. SYEF is an evaporator fan error. The fan is not running. Forced fan on in diagnostics and it would not run. The fan has proper DC voltage to it. When inspecting the evaporator I found the suction line had been resting against the cover. This is what was causing the vibration/buzz noise. Replaced the evaporator fan and verified it is running. All ok. The freezer air duct cracked and a tab broke upon removal. Unit is 17 years old in the kitchen. Customer states that the door frame is broken near the handle and the glass is beginning to sag. To repair the cracked door frame it would need the door assembly or just the out frame. Both of these parts are no longer available through our sources. Unit also isnt heating very well. Ran to test. The magnetron is louder than usual when running. It does heat but is weak.
