Noise is coming from the transmission assembly. The clutch is dragging on the drive pulley. Clutch is dragging from excessive play in the transmission. The oil seal has also gone bad. Oil has saturated the belt and pulley. Nothing under the agitator that could cause the noise. "Customer states that the unit wont drain and is holding water. Door also wont unlock. Door wont unlock due to water level in the tub. Cleared water from the unit to gain access. Upon further inspection I found the right side counter weight broken from the front half of the tub. It has broken the tub, and torn the door boot. Unit went out of balance because the counter weight came loose. When it went off balance it damaged the wiring harness, rotor, stator, drain pump, suspension, tub assembly, counter weights, and the door boot. Due to the large amount of damage and the cost I do not recommend repair. "Customer states unit shows F7E1 and wont spin. Control has errors F7E1 and F7E6. F7E1 unable to reach rpm, and F7E6 motor circuit open. Unit got to speed with no issues or abnormal noises. Motor is testing good at 5 ohms for both windings. No loose or broken wires. Some lint/dust debris around the optics of the speed sensor. This can cause the sensor to misread. Cleared debris from the optics. Calibrated control and ran diagnostics cycle to test. Unit is functioning as it should. All ok."
