"Customer states that ice and water had been functioning fine up until a few weeks ago. They had replaced the filter but this did not help. Checked control for error codes and found ice maker errors. Ice maker would not function in test mode. Display is functioning as it should but no auger motor, no water valves, or ice maker functions. Removed hinge cover to inspect harness. No signs of visible damage. No backed out pins. Disconnected and reconnected all. Dispenser started to function as it should. As did ice maker. When reinstalling the hinge cover the dispenser lost function. The harness from the door to the cabinet is shorting open on the neutral. Left cover off and dispenser functions fine. Customer has changed the water filter and this did not help. Removed line from other side of the water reservoir. No flow from the reservoir. Removed evaporator cover and found the water reservoir frozen. Temperature set at recommended setting. No sensor error codes. No issues with three way valve for the compressor. Check unit over found the unit would not run or heat. Disassembled the unit and found that there was a rag wrapped around the motor. Causing the motor not to run. Removed rag and reassembled the unit. Unit is now running and heating. Motor is making a little bit of a squealing noise. I did inform her this is not something warranty company cover because it is not normal wear and tear.

Inspected the unit and found several error codes for oversudes and the drain pump running constantly. The unit is in a flood safety cycle. Cleared the cycle and re-calibrated the unit. Unit is still slow to produce ice. The customer is also seeing water behind the unit. Inspected backside of unit and found water leak from the manifold. Secured fitting and leak is gone. Spoke with Ronald at Electrolux and ran through ice maker tests. He states it is functioning as it should. The unit should produce 2# of ice in 24 hours. Not the 3.5 the owners manuals states. It should fill the bucket completely in 48 hours. It is a 6# bucket. Advised customer. They are to monitor and call in if unit has not produced 2# in 24 hours.
