Customer states that drain pump is running constantly and unit show i30 error. This is a water leak error. This will cause the drain pump to run constantly in an attempt to clear the leak. Customer stated that unit is filling with fresh water on its own. Learned water from float switch and ran diagnostics test. Unit functions fine in diagnostics. When running the 30 minute wash cycle the water valve would not shut off. Voltage is still present after it should be off. Inspected inner basket and found the splines of the basket worn. This is causing the unit to go out of balance. When unit went out of balance it cracked the outer tub and tub cover. Unit needs inner basket, outer tub, and tub cover. Inspected the unit and found it stuck in a cool cycle and not running through the defrost. Found the refrigerator full of food and leaking water. Advised the customer they will need to defrost the unit for at least 48 hours with the doors open to allow all the ice to melt. Entered diagnostics and changed the unit to an eight hour defrost cycle instead of the smart defrost. All other checks OK.
