Unit has abnormal defrost errors for the fresh food section. Forced unit into defrost and the heater is operating as it should. Evaporator cover has a large amount of frost built up still. Cleared frost from around the fan and verified the fan is quiet. Not enough moisture was cleared from the unit on the previous repair. It refroze around the fan causing the noise again. Cleared all moisture from the evaporator cover and fan. All ok

"Unit is 16 years old in the kitchen. Mid range model in black. Customer states that the unit leaks from the door area, doesnt always drain, and is loud. Ran diagnostics cycle to test functions. "Checked unit over found that the freezer fan was running, but was vibrating extremely bad. Drain was completely frozen up. Unit was completely packed full of food with Kroger bags wrapped around the outside. This has caused the unit to freeze up and not cool properly. Disassembled unit cleared out the drain. Cleared out ice buildup around fan fixed fan blade. Reassembled unit and instructed customer on loading of the freezer. Checked OK."

"The front left burner glass had a ring around it like there was something attached to the pot or pan while the unit was heating up and it fractured the glass, causing it to partially melt and crack. All the other burners are working properly tested in calibrated oven. Spoke with American home shield and they are not going to cover the replacement of the glass cooktop because they do not consider that normal wear and tear."
