"Unit is 17 years old in the kitchen. Customer states that unit was cooling weak in the freezer section and then the fresh food section. Now the unit isnt cooling in either section. The evaporator fan is running. No frost on the evaporator. Pulled unit and inspected. Compressor and condenser fan arent running. Fan is getting voltage but wont move. Fan is locked up. The compressor is tripping the thermal overload. It is drawing 13 amps then shutting down. Compressor is locked up. Compressor locked up from lax of air movement. Condenser fan locked up then the compressor failed. Also found broken water lines. Lines are brittle from heat. Unit needs compressor kit, condenser fan, and water reservoir. Due to age and cost of repair customer does not wish to proceed."

Upon arrival put unit into diagnostic mode to test different components to recreate the noise. Could not recreate it. Found a service flash on Electrolux tips app for a vibration noise coming from the inverter when the compressor is running. Followed directions for the fix on the service flash. Informed customer to let it run and if the noise happens again to let us know.

Inspected unit and found it working properly. Checked pressure hose for any clogs or damage. Customer also said unit would be counting down but then jump up and start adding water again. I explained to customer about the unit getting out of balance causing the machine to have to redistribute the load. Also saw that tubs were sitting very low and could bottom out easily. Gave customer quote for pressure switch and suspension rods. Customer declined repair.

"Customer states the controller intermittently not turn on. They can reset the breaker and it will work properly for a while and then the same symptom reoccurs. No error code stored in the system and it ran through self diagnostics fine with no issues. No loose connections. Control board is intermittently shorting causing it to not power on. GE has an updated machine control kit that includes the user interface, main board, and a new harness. Please order and reschedule.; ordrng 1 WD21X26186 (Machine control kit)"

Customer states that drain pump is noisy and slow to drain. Nothing in the sump blocking the drain pump. No water in unit currently. Filled unit and forced into drain. Unit is very slow to drain. Before pulling unit to inspect drain pump I noticed the unit is ran on an extension hose for the drain. The hose is kinked where it goes through the cabinet. This is why it is slow to drain and pump is noisy. Unit needs drain pump. Customer is going to have drain line extension fixed. Will have extension repaired before we return to install the drain pump ; ordrng 1 11001011000221 (Drain pump)
