Found the drain line in the fresh food section completely clogged and the heater warped. Made adjustments to the heater and cleared the drain line. Installed new heater extension wire down the drain line and checked the evaporator wall for minor cracks. Found no cracks. Applied permagum around thermistor in the fresh food section. Reassembled unit and advise the customer they will need to run the unit through a 24 hour defrost cycle with the doors open to allow the remaining ice to defrost. all checks ok."

The flood safety sensor on the control board is faulty and causing the unit to stop mid cycle and run the drain pump until the basket is empty (resulting in skipping the spin cycle, which is why the clothes are still wet). Advised the customer they would need a new control board and that control board is discontinued and no longer available. Provided information to the customer and the customer declined repairs. Inspected the unit and found the freshfood section and freezer section warmer than normal. Found the unit had the smart defrost cycle activated. Check fans and compressor and they were functioning properly. Placed unit on basic eight hour defrost cycle and advise the customer to give it to her three days to return to normal temperatures. Advise the customer if the temperature drops to normal temperatures in the next couple days then everything will be working fine on the unit but if the temperatures continue to increase and they have a sealed system issue and recommending to replace the unit due to the high cost of repaired on a sealed system leak.
