The temperature in the refrigerator section was an average of 47? and Freezer section at 5?. Removed the evaporator cover and found evaporator with a solid frost pattern. Advised the customer to run the unit through a 24 hour defrost cycle and leave the freezer door open to allow the drain line to completely defrost. All checks OK.

Inspected unit and found it draining properly. Customer stated she had an e21 code and it had told her to call a service representative. The error code was for a long drain cycle. I took the unit apart to check the filter in the drain hose. Filter was clear. When I ran through a normal cycle I noticed a lot of suds build up. Informed customer that an excess of suds can cause the drain pump to run longer and give that error code. Advised customer to get washing machine cleaner and run though a couple cycles. All checks ok.

"Checked drain trap filter and found multiple coins inside the trap. Also found wooden token large enough to cover the trap and not able to actually fit inside. Due to the token sitting on top of the drain trap, the hose was completely blocked not allowing water to flow through. Removed trap from hose and removed debris as well as cleaned it off. Replaced drain trap in hose. Ran tests. All checks ok."

"Inspected unit and found when unit was put through a drain cycle, it would backflow into the drain of the customers utility sink. The drain hose for the sink had been knocked off. This had caused a large amount of water on the customers floor. Customer also stated that at the end of the cycle, after the clothes had spun out, the water valves would actuate and pour water on the clothes for under a minute. I could not replicate this issue. Advised customer that if it continued to do that, to take a video so I could see exactly what the problem was. All checks ok."
