Inspected the unit and found the control panel at the top of the door cracked due to the cabinets being too tight against the appliance. Found the door not closing properly due to the cabinets and the door gasket being misaligned. Made adjustments to the door gasket and control panel and adjusted the doors so it can close without hitting the cabinets. I advised the customer the control panel is only covered under the 30 day cosmetic warranty. Door is closing properly and no other issues found.

"Original issue was that the lid lock would not close. Customer replaced the lid lock assembly and the unit locked and unlocked without any issues. Upon further inspection found error code F7E4 (basket re-engagement failure) and F0E5 (off balance load) continuing to display in the fault history. Ran diagnostic cycle and the unit would lock the lid, fill with water, agitate, than shut off and say it was completed. Powered the unit back on the attempted to run a drain and spin cycle and the unit displayed canceling cycle and would not respond. Powered the unit off for 5 minutes and entered diagnostics to recalibrate the unit, unit would not start the cycle. Attempted to activate individual components and nothing would respond. It appears there is an issue with the control board or control panel and would recommend replacing both."

Inspected the unit and found the average temps in the freezer at 32 degrees and 47 in the fresh food section. Found the evap cover in the fresh food section frozen over and the fan not running. Inspected the unit and found an error code for drain pump failure. Ran a test cycle and the unit drained the water very slow. Attempted to enter diagnostic and the unit would not respond. Ran a quick cycle and the unit filled with water and activated the wash motor. There was very little water flow through the spray arms. Provided info to the customer and they declined any repairs and plan to replace the unit with a GE or Frigidaire.

Inspected the unit and found the drum not turning once I start cycles activated. I could hear the motor activating at the drum not rotating. Remove the front panel and control board and lower panel and inspected the underside of the drum. Found a large amount of lint buildup on the control boards and pulley and wheels. Cleared off and found the belt had come off the pulley due to the pulley catching on part of the motor wiring harness. Made adjustments to the wiring harness and reset pulley and reconnected belt to the motor and pulley. Used wire ties to secure wire harnesses out of the way. Reassembled unit and run a test cycle. All checks OK.
