Inspected the unit and found the door boot with a large amount of gunk buildup on it and water pooling at the bottom of the door boot. Cleared drain lines in the door boot and cleaned door boot as best as possible. Made adjustments to the door and boot to allow it to close more secure. Customer states that unit isnt washing. Soap is sitting in the bottom. Nothing in sump blocking the pump. Found water supply shut off to dishwasher. Turned on and ran to test. Unit is operating as it should. Unit isnt level and door is dragging the cabinet. Leveled unit and adjusted door. All ok.

Inspected unit and found the heater wiring harness defective and damaged along with the bearing guides rubbing. Customer approved repair. Removed the wire harness and reran the wire harness to prevent strain on the heater harness. Clipped wire harness connector and installed new connector. Reattached to heater. Made adjustments to element fins to keep them from touching. Made adjustments to the bearing glides. Reassembled the unit and ran a test cycle. Secured the vent line on the back of the unit. All checks ok.

Inspected the unit and found add salt/ rinse aid displayed on the UI. Reset the control board and it was still displayed. This model does not have a salt reservoir and this should not be displayed. The unit had displayed this since it was installed. The unit was purchased from online and not a certified retailer with Bosch. Advised the customer we would recommend to replace the control board. Contacting techline on Monday.

Inspected the unit and found the door latch assembly not consistently latching in the unit beeping. Made adjustments to the top of the basket and advised the customer that I recommended to replace the door latch. Customer declined repair at the time and if the issue continues to happen they will need to replace the latch assembly. All checks OK
