Unit is not secured into wall. It is in a brick wall and installer did not secure it to brick. He was going to come back and glue it in but never showed. Unit is not repairable due to bowed frame. Installer caused damage to unit. Cannot bill to GE. Customer had been dealing with Kathy at Lowes CPO in regards to replacing unit because of installer damages. Called her to give information and left voicemail. Have not heard back from Lowes.

Upon arrival customer stated that all burners wont ignite now and clock is missing segments. Inspected top and found igniter shorting to the base. Pulled burner heads and cleared dirt from igniters and burners. Reassembled and ran to test. All burners ignite as they should. Control will need to be replaced to fix issue with missing segments. All functions work. Called property manager and left voicemail. They do not want to repair control at this time. Ok to bill for labor and service fee.

Upon arrival customer stated that unit wont dispense water or make ice in both ice makers. Ran dispenser and valve is getting voltage but not moving water. Reservoir is frozen preventing water flow. Replaced filter housing and ran to test. All ok. Reservoir froze because heater shorted out.

"Install mullion, door opens and closes properly. Customer stated they thought the water valve was leaking on the back of the unit. The customer turned the water on to the refrigerator and I found the water valve leaking. Replace water valve and provide the customers information, and advised them I could not hook up the main waterline back to the valve due to liability reasons they should have a plumber come out and make adjustments to the line. All checks OK; used 1 W10865826 (VALVE) from stock"

"Upon arrival found ice under lower bin and ice clogging defrost drain. Thawed ice, cleared defrost drain, and installed heater wire. Unit had weak cooling due to lack of air movement. Ice has built up into evaporator and blocked it. Unit is functioning as it should."

Inspected the unit and found when the turbo cooling was activated the fan in the freezer section would rev up really high for a few seconds and then rev back down. The fan noise during the turbo was noticeable louder. The fan is marked as no longer available. Called tech line and asked them about the fan. They said as long as the unit is still properly cooling this is normal. They are working on a service pointer to try and lower the noise or find another manufacturer for the fan. Called the customer and advised them. Unit cooling and functioning properly.

"Inspected the unit and found the control panel cracked and not responding to all the buttons, the soap dispenser door not opening, the door gasket around the tub not sealing up and causing the unit to leak, the washer motor with low water flow and the upper rack and rail broke. The unit is 9 years old and located in the kitchen. Called HBW and spoke with Jack, provide a diagnosis issues and cost for repair. I advised him due to the age of the unit and the cost of repair that I do not recommend repair. He advised me they will submit the unit for replacement options and contact the customer."
