"Washing machine tub seal has failed causing washer to leak water all over customers floor damaging flooring. It looks to be rotted near the baseboard left rear corner. Advise customer to contact warranty company. The washing machine needs a gear case, the wash plate is seized onto the transmission shaft and cannot be removed. Because of this the entire outer tub with accessories and inner wash basket will need to be replaced along with the wash plate. Unit is an uneconomical for repair and recommend replacement of the machine. Reset the unit and left it run for about 10 minutes and found the temperatures in the freezer section dropped below 40?.
