The error code she had was indicating a block to the vent. This issue needs to be addressed or warranty will not cover premature heater failure due to improper venting

Upon arrival customer stated that unit isnt spinning clothes out. They're coming out damp still. No standing water in tub though. Ran diagnostics to test. Unit gets to full rpm in spin test. 1100rpms. Drain pump is moving water fine. No error codes stored. Suspension is tight. Found unit out of level front to back. Leveled unit and ran spin test again. All ok. Unit is spinning smooth. Suspect unit wasnt able to balance out properly and get to full speed due to level issue.

"Upon arrival customer stated that the unit wont heat. Found unit will tumble but no heat. Unit has proper voltage. Found heater shorted open. Replaced heater, cleared unit of lint and ran to test. All ok. Unit is heating as it should. ; used 1 279838 (Heater) from stock"

Upon arrival customer stated that unit has no operation. At times when shutting door it will beep and display will come on. Unit has proper voltage to it. Found fuse in fuse holder very loose. Replaced fuse and squeezed hood down tighter. Ran to test. Unit is heating as it should. Loose fuse holder allowed fuse to overheat and melt solder connections. All ok.

"Cleared out freezer of ice and water. Removed old water line and fill tube. Replaced parts and sealed the exterior section with permagum and sealant. Sealed inside the freezer around the tube with permagum and sealant. Reassembled the evaporator cover, icemaker, shelving and brackets. Reset temperature and advised the customer I had the unit on quick freeze to get back to normal temperature. All checks ok."

(Tech Sam)Inspected the unit and found a large amount of ice buildup behind the fresh food evaporator hitting the fan. Removed the cover and cleared out the ice. Discovered small cracks in the liner. Used permagum to seal up cracks in the liner. Reassembled the unit. All checks OK.

"Inspected unit and found the same error code as last time and the freezer intermittently not cooling and allowing everything to defrost. Sometimes powering the unit off and powering it back on will clear the error code and allow the unit to run properly but other times it does not. The unit is 10 years old and located in the kitchen. called HBW and advised them of the issue. They said they are placing the unit into replacement options and would contact the customer."
