"Upon arrival unit reading around 11-13F in freezer, fresh food at 65F. Unit is making and holding ice. Did not feel any air coming through air damper. Evap fan is running but noticed frost buildup on cover. Unit is 12 yrs old. Pics attached, checked bi metal and heater read continuity, proceeded to defrost then checked bi metal again read open. Drain looked clear, upon turning unit on and off from controls ok, fan running, air is now flowing through damper and believe unit will be ok. Explained all this to customer, said to find thermometer and place in unit check the next morning and couple of days before putting anything back in. Explained if unit still has issue will have to order parts and labor extra."

The unit is still pausing in the middle of the cycle. On 12/31 we diagnosed a failed control board and installed a new board from LG. The customer ran the unit with no issues for a few weeks then the problem returned. Inspected the unit and followed the LG techsheet to test the door switch and control panel and both passed without any issues. This issue randomly occurs. It is the techs opinion that there is a communication issue throughout the unit or possible lemon with a short in the circuit causing the unit to stop in the middle of the cycle. No LG techsheet tests have proven to resolve the issue. Customer to contact LG with techs report.

Ran tested with towels seems ok. They have 2 different people that do laundry on different days. Told this person today when doing loads this afternoon if still leaking take a picture from front and back of unit. Advise both on cutting back on soap because when running towels, there is so much soap suds still coming out of them with just water. Explained about keeping door boots and glass clean and dry and periodically check down in those little holes leading back into the tub. Customer is going to continue to run laundry this afternoon has no uniforms or jackets at this time, only towels. Checked unit over found that the unit wouldnt start. Fixed door switch and was able to get unit to start. Customer has broken the door off and thats not normal wear and tear. Also customer has been running this without lint screen and now build up down inside filter area also not covered by warranty. Brandy said they would let the customer know that this is not a covered repair. They would cover fixing the door switch but they will not cover the door or the lint filter or any issues that came from that
