"Upon arrival customer stated that after tech replaced fuse they ran a a small load. Load was not fully dry so they ran it again. When they came back 20 minutes later the unit stopped tumbling but was extremely hot. Customer unplugged and unit wouldnt power up. Inspected unit and found thermal fuse for blower shorted open again. Checked heater and found it shorted to ground. This is why the unit got so hot. The heater had voltage and was heating constantly. Overheat then shorted out the thermal fuse in the blower. Installed new thermal fuse and heater. Ran unit to test. Unit isnt heating. Checked and found thermal fuse on heater housing shorted open from same overheat condition. Replaced thermal fuse and cycling thermostat. Ran unit to test. Unit is heating as it should. On high heat in timed dry it gets to 170 and cycles off, cools to 125 then cycles on. All ok. Thermal fuse and cutoff are under Whirlpool part warranty of 1 year. ; used 1 279838 (Heating Ele

Unit is 17 years old in kitchen. Upon arrival customer stated that unit lost power and wouldnt come back on. Checked for proper voltage at outlet and its good. Checked fuses and both are good. Main PCB has signs of corrosion on circuit. Plugged unit back in and display and lights powered up. Ran unit to test. Unit is heating fine. Main PCB has an intermittent short. Upon arrival customer stated that unit leaked a large amount of water. Inspected supply line and found slight leak at brass fitting. Tightened fitting and ran to test. Unit will not stop filling with water. Unit is overflowing. Removed power from water valve and it was still filling under house pressure. Water valve is sticking causing it to overflow. Unit needs water valve. Shut down water to unit and power. ; ordrng 1 WD15X24213 (Valve)

"Unit is 23 years old in kitchen. Upon arrival found door handle broken off. Handle was glued back on at one point but is broken beyond repair. Bracket that handle mounts to is cracked at mount of handle. Handle has been like this for a year now. Customer had been pulling on the bottom of the door to open. Door frame has broken from pulling and allowed glass to sag. Unit needs door handle, door handle bracket, and outer door frame. Frame and bracket are NLA.
