Due to cost customer would like to purchase a new dryer. Will call in if they decide to repair.

Customer stated they could smell gas in the kitchen and in the second story bedroom above the kitchen. Upon arrival the tech could not smell any abnormal smells or gas. Removed the pan drawer from underneath the unit and could smell a very faint smell of gas underneath the unit. Tested all four burners and all burners were at a blue flame 95% of the time or higher. Put liquid detector on all connections of the gas line underneath the unit and tested the oven on both broil and bake. Both cycles kicked on and heated without any issues or an overwhelming smell of gas. Found a very small leak at the main gas connection line. Took a video of all the connection lines and could only find it leaking at the main connection. I showed the video to the customer. The customer appeared worried. I asked if they wanted me to shut off the gas going to the oven and they said no. Called AHS and advised them they would need a plumber to come back out and replace the line

Inspected unit and found the spring for the boot gasket had come off. Made adjustments to the gasket and reinstalled the spring clip to hold it in place. Were in a short test cycle and found no leaks. The model and serial number is scratched off and unable to read the correct serial number. The unit is in the laundry room and roughly 5 years old
