Inspected unit and found a large amount of suds build up. Explained to customer that new dishwashers are very sensitive to detergents and he needed to use a dishwasher cleaner about once a month to prevent from building up residue in the dishwasher because suds buildup can cause leaking from the front as well as other issues with the unit. All checks ok.

"Unplugged the unit for a few minutes to manually kick on the compressor when plugged back in. Used amp meter to check amps as the compressor starts. When plugged back in, I heard the compressor kick on. Starting amps and running amps were both within range. Told the customer that the sounds they are hearing are completely normal for this unit. All checks ok."

Inspected unit and found the drain line frozen up causing water to leak into the fresh food section. At previous visits we had installed the new drain heater kit as well as putting permagum around wire entry points and installing a new evaporator cover. Called Samsung and they said to order another drain kit and evaporator cover and call them while in the home. ; rqstng P&A on 1 DA97-11823A (Fresh food evaporator cover)

We have used Authorized Service several times for appliance repair and have always been happy. Kevin with was here today to work on our refrigerator.
