"Upon arrival called whirlpool tech line and spoke with Rick. After explaining what was going on with the unit, he had me check unit condenser to make sure it was clean and the water pressure from the dispenser. He had discussed with me previous repairs done to the unit. He recommended changing the dual water valve in the ceiling of the unit as he believes it is closing slower than it should be and therefore adding too much water. His notes are under same file number from previous call to techline. Ordering parts. ; rqstng P&A on 1 W11577195 (Ice maker (pw)), ordrng 1 W10341329 (Valve)"

Inspected unit and found cooling fan immediately coming on when plugged in. Customer stated she was cooking something and unit got incredibly hot in the last five minutes then gave the error code. Checked elements and temperature sensor and all were good. Gave customer quote for control. Customer wants time to think about repair.

Inspected unit and found heating element not heating up. Found heating element testing good. Informed customer that if the heating element tested good but was still not heating up then its likely due to the control board. Customer wants to think about repair.
