"Checked out the unit and found out the icemaker was not cycling and dumping the ice. tried testing the icemaker, and could not get water to dispense into the icemaker, but there was ice in the icemaker still. Recalibrated the icemaker, and reset it. The unit would still not dispense any water into the unit. Check the waterline and found that the waterline was completely frozen. Defrosted the fill line and advised to do a complete defrost for 24 to 48 hours to make sure that there is no ice built up in the lines. Check OK"

They were really using it as a prop and it fell into her washer, while she was washing her clothes she heard some banging, and when she pulled the clothes out notice this piece of metal was in there. I could not figure out where any missing pieces were on this unit so my assumption is that he was using it as a prop for the lid since he was working on the lid lock. The customer told me when I arrived that the leak was at the waterlines. They were not connected correctly and I guess they also had a leak at the outlets in the wall so it had nothing to do with the washer. She clearly stated that the washer was not leaking. It was the waterlines. Customer had a full load of clothes in the washer so I told her to go ahead and run that load through and let me know if that load completes with no issues.

"Inspected the unit and found the water valve on the rear of the unit leaking. Upon further investigation, found the Line running to the valve as well cracked on the end and leaking. Cut the end of the line and reattached to the valve. Ran multiple test cycles and found no other leaks coming from the unit. Found the shut off valve on the wall with a minor leak. Recommended the customer contact a plumber and have them replaced the shut off valve along with the copper line and replace it with a steel braided line to prevent kinks or leaks. All other checks OK. Customer had concern regarding noise complaints with the unit. Everything the tech could hear or see was within normal range for this model."

"Inspected the unit and found some ice cubes towards the top that were beginning to melt and clump together. Everything is functioning as it should from factory. Found that the unit had a half inch gap between dispenser mouth and the mouth of the ice bin, causing warm air from the fridge to accumulate in the ice bin. If Customer does not get ice out of the bin regularly, she will continue to have this issue. Unfortunately, there isnt any kind of seal or anything that is supposed to go between the door and ice spin."

Unit would need both control parts along with a tub, but the tub is not a repairable part. Found that the outer basket where the seam comes together is dripping water onto the control board and shorting it out. The unit would need an outer basket, which is not a repairable part."

"Checked out the unit and found the unit not starting a cycle. Remove the back panel off the unit and found several of the thermal fuse wires damaged. Repaired the thermal fuse wires and the thermal fuse. Cleaned out some lint that had build up around the blower fan in the back of the blower housing. Hook the unit back up and started a test cycle, the unit started but found that the knob has a small crack in the side of it, which was not allowing it to change cycles and would get stuck when trying to turn. Checks OK; ordrng 1 WE1M652 "
