"Replaced shorted thermistor and heating element. Inside of the dryer had physical standing water in it. I replaced parts and make sure the unit was heating up properly. I told them they would probably need to have those vents cleaned because thats the only way you're getting that much moisture inside of there. Unit checks OK; used 1 DE486A (ELEMENT), and 1 DC32-00007A (THERMISTOR) from stock"

Ran several testing and readings with my multimeter. Everything is working through diagnostics heater is working on the filter tube. Water valve is dispensing water when it needs to icemaker is harvesting and doing everything it should do but the problem is is the main control after this thing goes out of diagnostics is not communicating with the heater and the fill tube is freezing right at the point where it goes into the icemaker. I tested it with another heater that I had in my truck and I also tested it side-by-side with the heater that is there all the testing voltage and om readings are exactly the same so my prognosis is they need a main control I gave the customer a quote for a price waiting on them to decide whether not they want to repair or replace.
