Pulled the unit from underneath the counter and found the drain pump not snapped into place properly causing a minor leak. Cleaned up the water and cleaned up the drain pump gasket and reinstalled. Ran a quick cycle for a few minutes and found no leaks at the drain pump. Reinstalled the unit underneath the counter. All checks OK. I advised the customer for all future issues with is leaking to get a video and we will contact American home shield.

"Customer states that unit is not spinning. It is no longer producing a burnt rubber smell. Ran diagnostics cycle. Found error F7E1 basket speed fault, and F2E1 stuck button error. Ran diagnostics cycle and motor just hums when it calls for agitation or spin. The rpm sensor is reading the basket spinning. The motor is testing good. The motor capacitor is out of spec. This is why it wont spin/agitate and produced a burning odor. Installed new capacitor, calibrated control, and ran to test. The unit is functioning as it should. "Unit is 10 years old in laundry room. Customer states that the unit wont advance beyond rinse. No error codes stored. Both cold and hot valve operates as they should. Unit is very noisy in spin. The bearings are worn causing the gearcase to overheat and lock up. This is keeping the unit from advancing and agitating. The unit needs the gearcase, drive hub, belt, and Splutch kit. ; ordrng 1 W11454372 (Gearcase) and 1 W10721967 (Splutch kit) and 1 W10006384 (Belt) and 1 W10528947 (Drive hub)"

Inspected unit and found unit working properly. Ran a spin test on unit and unit spun without excessive noise or vibration. Had customer throw in a load of towels and run it. Had unit fill and wet towels then spin out. Unit again spun out with no issues. Advised customer to run like normal and take a video if issues persist.

Inspected the unit and found the gear case leaking grease all over the motor and underside of the unit and the tub locked up and unable to move. Attempted to remove the tub and basket but I could not get it off the gear case. Unit will need additional labor and a second technician to replace tub.
