Inspected the unit and found when going through a drain cycle. It was throwing a slow drain. Error code. Removed the drain pump and found a breeze stuck inside the drain pump. Ran a calibration and a diagnostic cycle and the unit cycled through with no issues. Ran another drain cycle and again the drain pump kicked on but then kicked back off shortly after running. Found that power wires going to the drain pump was shorted out. Replaced the old wire. Ran another test cycle and the unit was operating correctly. Checks OK. Called and talked with Rent-A-Center and they approved the repair

"Inspected the washer and definitely heard what appeared to be like a plastic grinding sound upon further investigation. I lifted up the washer somehow a bottle cap had gotten lodged in between the belt pulley cover, and the pulley that attaches to the gear every time it would agitate that cap would get caught up in between the plastic housing and the gear and was just wearing down and making a rubbing sound. Removed that cap tested again. Unit is now operating and sounding as it should."

"Used my newfi to run diagnostics on washing machine. Customer complaint, washing machine is not spinning all the water out of the clothes. Ran spin test, unit reached full 750 RPMs slower than normal. Noticed the unit was not level, leveled washing machine re-ran spin test. After leveling unit reached max RPM twice as fast. I believe the unit not being level the washing machine struggled to reach the RPMs that should at end the spin cycle, leaving the clothes wet at the end."

Customer was complaining of unit leaking. Found that the turbidity sensor had been partially pulled out when installed. This was allowing it to drip. Reinstalled turbidity sensor correctly tested unit. Unit is no longer leaking. Checks ok
