Inspected unit and found customer had turned ice maker off due to ice maker constantly leaking. Had ice maker harvest and found the cubes large and the water valve overfilling ice maker. Called whirlpool tech line and spoke with Garrett. Explained to him the issues and he stated the problem stems from the control and display boards. Found kit for unit with both boards. "Upon arrival called GE and spoke with Neil. Explain to him issue unit is having with the fabric refresh door. He had a checked continuity of the wire harness, as well as if the unit was reading the door open and shut in diagnostic mode. He stated that the door could be flexing and releasing the switch, causing it to read open when the unit gets hot. Recommended ordering and replacing the fabric refresher door.
