"Checked unit over and found it was throwning an AE code and started smoking and then shut down. I was able to get the unit to power on and run, but it was leaking from the right side of the tub and leaking onto the control board this caused the control board to short out and tripped the breaker. The leak is coming from the tub itself. I have pictures of where there is a small separation in the weld that is allowing it to leak down under control board. "Inspected the unit and could not get it to run through a spin only cycle. Found damage to the lid of the unit due to excessive shaking and vibration. Ran a quick wash cycle and found the gear case shaft cracked and causing the inner basket to grind against the outer tub and causing unit to shake and vibrate while spinning in a low spin speed. Attempted to remove the bolt from the wash plate and rotor to remove the gear case for inspection, but the bolt stripped. Unit would require additional labor, a second technician in multiple hours to attempt to rebuild the tub. Not a recommended repair. Per the parts breakdown it looks like the outer tub is not repairable. "Inspected the unit and found good water pressure coming from the hot and cold water valve within the first 10 seconds of turning the water on. Ran it through diagnostics and found the unit filling with water and everything working the way it should be. Also have an error code H20 and a pressure sensor loss error code, which can be caused due to low water pressure. The customers on a well and talk the GE and they suggested if he is on a well they will have this issue because of being on a well."
