Inspected unit and found unit making a loud squeaking noise. Customer was also concerned about large amount of lint buildup along the back panel. When I took off the front panel I found an excessive amount of lint in the cabinet. I found the vent and the blower wheel housing were not connected allowing the lint to blow into the cabinet instead of out of the vent. Checked roller support wheels as well as the pulley for signs of squeaking. Back left roller wheel was very tough to turn and wasnt rolling freely. Took wheel off and cleaned it up and made sure it wasnt bad. Regreased shaft and put wheel back on. Advised customer to get vents cleaned. All checks ok.

Whirlpool has a service bulletin about this issue. The door boot, and ACU need replaced. The ACU change helps with unbalanced load management. Checked to verify unit is level. Unit also falls under dispenser leak bulletin. Whirlpool recommends replacement of the dispenser assembly. New part comes with a different spray pattern to minimize leaks. Unable to duplicate noise but suspect the door boot rubbing is causing noise. "Customer states that unit will not heat. Its been like this from day one. Voltage to unit is correct. Inspected unit, found thermal fuse shorted open. Replaced thermal fuse and ran to test. Unit is cycling off the high limit thermostat. The control is not shutting down the heater relay. Replaced control and heating element. Ran to test. Unit is cycling on and off as it should. All OK."

"Customer states that unit is going out of balance in small loads and refills. This is normal for the unit to do when it goes out of balance. It is trying to redistribute the clothes to help balance the unit in final spin. Had customer show me what they consider a small load and it is too small. The machine cannot balance out such a small load. Advised customer to run larger loads, how cycles operate, and leveled unit. Ran diagnostics test and unit spins smooth. All ok."
