"Inspected the unit and could hear a scratching or squeaking noise when I spun the basket by hand. Inspected the under side of the unit and found a small amount of grease on the gear case rotor and stater. Rotor turned freely with no abnormal sounds. Successfully removed the wash plate and found no obstructions under the plate or coins. Spun the basket by hand again could still hear the scraping sound. The gear shaft appears to be bent and causing the basket to run against the tub. Raised the top panel and attempted to remove the basket, unsuccessful. Unit is only 3 years old. Unit will need a tub and gearcase replacment. Called AHS and advised of the issues. AHS to evaluate the unit for replacement and will contact the customer. Auth #100HEMA"
