Exited demo mode holding the - button and the water filter button for 10 seconds. The unit reset all fans and compressor came on. Unit is cooling. Advised customer on use of demo mode and how to exit. Owners manual states nothing about how to exit demo mode. Only talks about sabbath mode. Need to reach out to Electrolux to see if unit going into demo mode after a power outage is normal or if there is a software update. Spoke with Wayne at Electrolux and this is normal operations. No parts could be changed to change its operations. File number 86713337 for reference."

"Unit is 28 years old in the laundry room. Customer states unit has water on the floor after the cycle is complete. No signs of leaks from the water valves, or drain hose connections. Removed front panel and found bleach dispenser hose loose from cup. This is not the source of the water leak. Reattached bleach hose. Ran unit on ex large water level to test for leaks. No leaks when unit is filling or agitating. Unit is very slow to fill. Forced unit into spin/drain cycle. No leaks from the unit. I suspect that the drain stand pipe is slow to drain and with a large load with soap. It then overflows the stand pipe onto the floor. The drain is slow and the adjoins sink fills up. Advised customer to have drain cleared."

"Customer states that unit makes a scrapping sound from the top front of the dryer. Inspected unit and found the glides worn allowing it to scrap the plastic frame. Replaced upper glide assembly that was prided by SQT. Cleared blower of lint and ran to test. Unit is tumbling, and heating as it should. No more noise. All ok."

Inspected the unit and found the gearcase making a loud grinding noise during the spin cycle along with the impeller blade on the drain pump damaged. Model and serial tag deteriorated. Unit is 10+ years old. Tech does not recommend repair on gear case or drain pump due to age of the unit and cost of repair exceeding that of a new unit. Recommending the customer replace the unit with new.

Inspected the unit and found no response from the display or control board and found the freezer door loose. Made adjustments to the freezer door and installed a new set screw. Reset and reprogram the control board and powered back up and it started cooling. Advise the customer to give it 24 hours before they put any food inside the refrigerator.
