Inspected underside and found the rotor bolt loose. This is why the slider is dragging. It is not fully engaging. Removed rotor to inspect. No signs of damage to the slider or the rotor. Reinstalled the rotor and added thread lock to the bolt. Ran calibration and test. No more noise. Unit spins and agitates quietly. All ok.

Advised customer on amount of soap to use and cleaning of the unit. Advised them to run at least two cleaning tablets through the unit. No error codes stored in the control. Ran diagnostics to verify correct operation. Unit is operating as it should. Select deep rinse when using fabric softener. To clean the washer: Set water level to max, set cycle to bulky, set temperature to hot, and select deep rinse. Add cleaning tablet to an empty tub. Start the machine and allow it to finish the cycle. Do this every 3 months."

Removed belt cover and found the drive pulley loose and slipping on the splines. Removed and reinstalled drive pulley. Ran again to test. No more abnormal noises. Drive pulley became loose from a large load. Customer had ran a cycle with large rugs in it. This weighed the unit down enough to cause the pulley to contact the cover and loosen. Advised customer on load size to prevent this from happening again. Unit is operating as it should. If the problem occurs, we will need to bring out the drive pulley."

"Inspected the unit and found an error code for faulty water valve and oversudes. Ran a test cycle and found no mechanical issues with the unit. The customer is using powder HE detergent. Per the manufacturer excessive detergent can cause the unit to go into a flood safety cycle and not complete a cycle. Advised the customer to do the following. 1. Run 3-4 washing machine cleaning tablets through the unit. Put 1 tablet in the unit with no laundry and run any cycle. Perform this 3-4 times in a row. 2. Use roughly 1-2 tbs of HE detergent per load, regardless of size.3. Run a cleaning tablet (mentioned above) through the unit at least every 2 weeks to keep the unit clean. Once the customer starts using the cleaning tablets they may experience multiple issues as the detergent currently in the unit starts to break down."

Customer states that unit isnt cooling. Yesterday they found the unit warm and indicator light flashing. This is a high temperature alarm. Customer has not unplugged the freezer. Compressor and evaporator fan are running. Compressor amp draw is high at 1.7 amps. Removed evaporator cover to inspect. Not much frost is built up. Only lightly frosted on the upper portion of the evaporator. The compressor is not running efficiently or there may be a possible restriction. Unit needs the compressor and verify there is no blockages. ; ordrng 1 5304521562 (Compressor) and 1 5304533015 (Filter drier)
